Andrew Le is creating and adding his own flair to Hawaii’s culinary scene by using his cultural roots to inspire his tastes. Owner and chef, Le (pronounced LAY) is the mastermind behind two innovative restaurants—The Pig & The Lady and Piggy Smalls, both located in Honolulu. Garnering numerous awards and accolades, including being a James Beard Award finalist, Le innovates by accentuating his cuisine with Southeast Asian flavors through an Asian American lens, a foundation built on delicious memories first introduced by his Vietnamese immigrant mother. As of November 2019, Le’s culinary footprint has expanded internationally with the opening of The Pig & The Lady in Tokyo, Japan.
